Final pictures from Utah, Arizona and sweet home California
The final leg of my journey included more National Parks such as Bryce, Zion, and the Grand Canyon. I took a hike up to the top of Angel’s Landing in Zion and my fears were as heightened as I could ever remember. Had I not been scared, I’d have enjoyed the view a lot more, but as I climbed long chains to get me higher, I avoided the vertigo by keeping a low profile and keeping my eyes on the path.

Clarke, I didn’t know you stopped in Zion. My wife, and I, and friends go there every Thanksgiving. It’s great in the fall/winter. We do Angel’s Landing, The Narrows, Overlook Canyon, and other trails every year. We did horseback riding last year too. I what to do canyoneering this year. Looks like you stppoed in Bryce too with all those Hoo-Doos.
What to come to Zion with us this year? I’m looking for a buddy to hike the West Rim Trail (14mi) in one day (all gradual descent). It ends at Angel’s Landing.
