Just a quick hello

Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

1 week after the Tri, I am figuring out what next goal to go after, and cranking through some really fun projects with ClarkeDesign. I just came across a link, called: “The Story of Stuff“. Give it a look if you a little time for a lesson on where our stuff comes from and the [...]

Thanks to all…getting back to ‘normalcy’ (gulp)

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

Well, I would like to take credit for single handedly taking care of my wife during the last week, but the truth is, we had more folks helping out then imaginable. From coming to visit her so I could get a few moments out doors without leaving her, alone to some amazing home cooking from [...]

Happy Sunday (and my recovering wife…)

Sunday, September 7th, 2008

Well, my care for Stefanie has not led to any malnutrition lawsuits just yet so that is good. My sister Sally came by today with some yummy stuff though to offset my pasta, soup, jello and eggo waffle provisions that Stef has endured.
The lovely wife is doing well. We went outsite for a couple of [...]

My brave wife…

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

Tommorrow, the lovely wife goes under the lovely knife to have half her thyroid taken out. While her attitude is wonderful and I know everything will be fine, the next few days could be tricky for her. If you get a chance to think some positive thoughts for her, we’ll both be sure to receive [...]

A dog, his boys and girls…and the rest who will miss him.

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008

I just found out that Stefanie’s family dog, Cheeto, a beautiful big fluffball of a husky will have to be put to sleep tomorrow due to an untreatable growth/tumor on his throat that is causing trouble in breathing and painful coughing. He is 18 years old.
I enjoy visiting Steve, Karen, and all of Stef’s siblings [...]

The designing and training keeps getting better…

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

Since my return from RT2.0, I have immersed myself in ClarkeDesign. I have been very fortunate to work with fun and diverse clients throughout my freelancing, and now that I am doing it full-time, this has continued. Currently I am working with a florist, business school group, nutrition supplement company and a fabric company, to [...]

The grindstone welcomes my nose…

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008

Well, after gallivanting around as much as I did, I must have known I would suffer a little “real-world” shock when I came back. But it is all good. Played a gig last night (I’ll try and get some picts), been cranking on freelance for ClarkeDesign, and even got in a surf session/paddle this morning [...]

Countdown to the road trip …

Friday, May 30th, 2008

Hey everyone! So I am getting down to the wire for my trip. I will be leaving o’dark thirty on sunday morning, June 1st. STILL not really certain where I am heading exactly, but I am leaning north. I think I will give the Bay area a visit first and maybe visit some college [...]

The web-blog skinning begins…and ‘thank you for today’

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

So, little by little I am digging through files to skin a more custom theme to my blog. The top header and navigation is coming together. Good times!
In addition to the skinning and learning process here, I am working lately on several client projects. Little did I realize how busy I would be in my [...]
